Stock Watch: HotJobs Slips as New CFO is Named

HotJobs.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOTJ) was down 3/16 at 8 early Wednesday, as investors showed little reaction to a change in chief financial officers at the New York-based Internet recruiter.

The company said Lowell W. Robinson, who will also hold the title of senior executive vice president of finance and administration, is replacing Steve Ellis. Ellis will continue to serve as a director and consultant.

Robinson comes to HotJobs from PRT Group (Nasdaq: PRTG), an Internet and information technology software services company. As PRT’s chief financial officer, he guided the company through its $62 million initial public offering and helped boost revenue by 25 percent.

Robinson is also a former CFO of direct-marketing company Advo, Inc. (NYSE: AD).
