Stock Watch: Data Customer Growth Aids CNET

CNET Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNET) rose 7 3/4 to 29 3/16 Wednesday after the company said its CNET Data Services division added five customers to its licensee base.

The data division now offers information on more than 300,000 products in 16 languages, CNET said. The new customers are ASI Corp., Firesale.com, Firstsource Corp., OneChannel.net and Onvia.com.

Also Wednesday, analysts at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray reiterated a strong buy recommendation on CNET shares, a move that helped fuel the rise.
