The network of Arvato companies have been specialists in the entertainment market for decades, and the GTF draws on this wealth of experience. The GTF will develop proven concepts and add new approaches to the evolving marketplace, all designed to supply products to customers in the most targeted and efficient way possible.

With the growth of online distribution, the traditional methods of marketing physical and digital products have been supplemented by the convenience and efficiency of the Internet.

Publishers controlling the point of sale are clearly ahead of the competition. They can further profit from such a position if they can rely on intelligent vendor inventory management systems, as well as on longterm relationships with strategic partners in the industry.

The GTF will help publishers maintain the most efficient sales/distributions systems and also help to obtain the most competitive advantage at the point of sale.

It can do this by using the expertise of its personnel, and through intelligent vendor inventory management systems -- called R.I.M. (Retail Inventory Management) -- all supported by a wide range of specialist experience gleaned from the global network of Arvato companies.

Anshu Kane, European business development director (games) for Sonopress UK, says: "Converting our customers' ideas into concrete products requires both first-class data reproduction as well as eye-grabbing, modern and easily distributable packaging. The Games Task Force provides cutting-edge support for all of this and all the elements in-between, including logistics. Our experienced personnel and innovative systems guarantee the best-quality solutions and service covering the whole spectrum of the games industry."
