SpikeSource 'Certifies' New Centric CRM Solution

SpikeSource, a provider of business-ready open source solutions, has announced that it will add a Java-based, customer relationship management package provided by Centric CRM to its product offerings.

Called "Centric CRM Spike Certified," the product is an integrated CRM software application designed to help companies acquire, retain, service and sell to customers.

Centric CRM Spike Certified, which is built upon a Web-based, object-oriented architecture, will include many common CRM modules. It will also feature Web site authoring, enterprise content management, project and document management, customer surveys and advanced help desk functions.

"Centric CRM is committed to running well on any computing environment, large or small," said Michael Harvey, CMO, Centric CRM. "The SpikeSource approach to the SME (small to medium-size enterprise) market fits well with our strategy."

Like other SpikeSource products, the new Centric CRM Spike Certified application will be sold with Spike Net, a software update, maintenance and support service that provides users with bug fixes and patches for all application components.
